no my friend, you for sure have bmw. indeed a bmw with a looot of work done to and for sure pretty damn fast. we are just very interested to find out what it is? you know? what engine? what body? all that stuff. u have to understand that no one is against your car. we are just discussing a little part of a whole picture. in general i am pretty sure that the majority is pretty impressed of the work and efforts you did to your car.

look on the driver's side of the engine, on the intake manifold (the metal thing where the air goes in) it will say =3.5= or something like that.

I have a feeling the original engine was swapped out, and replaced with your current -- 3.5liter engine.

There is no doubt that your engine is a 3.5 liter, so you are actually paying more for insurance than you should be (you are paying for the 4.0l v8, not the 3.5l I6)

Yea i know, becuase it's definitely not hte 4.4l, i wander if something WAS stolen in the past, like that guy who paid 10,000 for the stolen M3 in florida and, well you probably know the rest of the story.

haha, no I'll sum it up beucase it's a very very long story. Basically a guy saw an ad for an e30 m3 for like 10,000 dollars. Talks to the seller over the phone and decides that he wants to drive pretty much across the US to get it (seller tells him it doesnt have problems, that the wheels dont use spacers, etc.) and gets there, and it has a bunch of exterior problems, wheels have spacers, and engine runs like crap. Seller is a real a-hole to him and lies out his butt. Anyways, guy buys it figuring he can fix it up, starts driving home and it has a bunch of electrical problems. Decides to stop at the DMV then another car dealer, car dealer ran a carfax and it came up stolen. Turns out the body, engine and other parts are all from different cars and have different VIN's. So the guy is now out 10,000 bucks becuase the car was impounded by the police.
