Okay, well they did it mathematically same as me then. Not real world. If i were you, I'd expect to see high 11's, to low 13's.

I wish to inform you that you have a 735, not a 740

The engine you posted:

The engine a 740il has:

A 735i has:

actualy it is not... and no i have a 740il... i removed the cover and driopped the engine lower because all my stuff didnt fit when i tried to close the hood.... i had to tear apart the engine and drop it 3 inches to fit everything... that was the major complication... i had about 5 guys working on that over the winter and they had complications also... my engine is just totally redone... but when i bought it in 1997 at fields bmw it was a 740il...atleast that is what they sold me... im positive it is a 74oil...i have an appointment for my quarter mile run and a dyno test a corkrin track at 3:00 so ill let u guys know when i get back. And yes that is wha t i posted but the lid that says m power was off and when u take off the lid on the 740 they look similar.

problem is, that your intake manifold looks just exactly the same type as the one used at the 735. see, the 735 has the manifold right on top of the engine. the 740 has it at the front of the engine, the end where the fan is located. it surely is a hard piece of work to change those parts to the way they look now.

still with all those mods, i am really curious for the time you perform.
