Posting pix in thread & signature?

Clearly I am not as savvy as I'd like to think...

Can anyone please explain (in very remedial-3rd grade level) how to upload pix to a post and/or how to add a pic to my signature?

First you need to upload your signature somewhere.

Try www.photobucket.com

Then add the URL to your image inside your signature box.
http://www.bmwboard.com/forum/profile.php?do=editsignature

Example:
[img!]http://www.yourimagepath.jpg[/img!] (Remove the !)
