I placed order yesterday for a orient blue/nat. brown 330ci with sp/pp/nav/auto/xenon ..... i can't wait to get it in mid/late nov. [:D]
kumafa124 -
I ordered ALMOST the exact same car you are getting...only difference being that I got the black interior and you got natural brown (which has a lot of black components anyway). Mine should be here in about a month..I cant wait! I think Orient Blue is one of the coolest colors I've seen...it looks black at night, really sexy...

Oh, nice...what school? I'm going to UCLA - also go blue! I got mine from South Bay BMW for right around 43,000 also...not a bad deal, I think (MSRP is 45200 or so).

Congrats again - awesome car - I cant wait for mine!

Hey Pierce..congrats.....I bought a '99 5er with the money I earned there myself. I want to say what no one else said. Keep your head down and come home safe. I was down there too(reservist) and I know the feeling buddy. So make sure you get home safe so I can see you riding around Heidelberg/Mannheim in your car. I am in the same exact area as you so I know I will see you.(First I did was change my exhaust too: Remus Romulus Stainless Steel). Stay safe......we may hate the war and the government but we dont hate the Soldiers....all of us have your back. PEACE

Nice car man!!!! The bevel around your navi looks split. Mine is continuous....hmmmmm.

Mine has a CD slot behind it and the whole thing tilts so you can put the CD in.

How does yours work?

adrean8j,
thanks...I'll remember to keep my head down. I was just home for two weeks on R&R its was great, but I am back out here now. I went to a bimmer show while I was back. I don't know what town it was, but it was about 4 hours north of Heidelberg.

bmwrocks,
My nav works the same way. It tilts down so I can put a cd in.

Everyone else,

Thanks for the great comments.

Yeah my buddy has been back for R&R too but, he has to leave early tomorrow morning.
I heard about that show but I didnt get to go because I had prior "engagements". I think it was up by Dusseldorf. By the way did you go with a club or solo? (that little saying I have written at the bottom was my answer to everything-good or bad- in Iraq until I came home....)

I went with a club..althogh I am not a member of it yet. I have several friends that are in the club so I rolled with them, since I had no idea where we were going. Hey do you get the herald post by any chance? My wife and I were on the front page of last weeks paper.

Dr.,

This is off topic, but what do you practice? I am currently in my first year of medical school at Wake Forest University (used to be called Bowman Gray).

Well lets see I practice basketball, tennis, running, occasionally racketball.....no really I'm joking. Actually I am not a Doc at all. It was just something that I got from my friends when I was in High School. I work with communication systems in the Army.
