anyone out there with a z4 whom is having trouble with there keys ?, I love my car but the range on my keys is abought 5 feet , whats the point of having remote functions anyway! im not lazy i dont mind opening my door manually but i sure do like to look cool hehehehe ive tried charging them up with long drives , its really given me a good excuse to go on long drives really, anyone have any insight on this ? thanks friends, sudds 2003 z4 2.5 1986 toyota 4x4 2002 pair of tenny shoes[wave]

I heard somewhere that you can take your key, metal part facing you, and touch it under your chin and it will double the range. Sounds stupid, but that's what someone wrote. [:)]

yes, the chin thing works. It's not just Z4s, it's all bimmers. Least the newer ones. It's sorta embarassing, but it's also embarassing holding out the key and having to keep pressing it until you're about 5 feet away before your car does anything. So, might as well do the chin thing cuz it's quick and effective.

yeah I did. Other than the paint being smoother to the touch, I really don't notice any difference. I'm not sure if it's shinier or not. My g/f, more anal than me, isn't sure I did anything to my car other tahn rub it w/ a microfiber towel for half an hour. I don't think wax is under any threat from this product. It does feel slicker though, but like I said, not more than wax. Maybe it's cuz I have silver which doesn't reflect like black paint does. Dunno.
