Just got my 2001 BMW 325i w/ premium and sports packages...I absolutey love it! I do have a question for anyone that can lend me some insight into it. I want my bimmer to flash it's lights and make a sound when I lock and unlock the doors using the remote entry (I think this is called the visual entry option). Can I get this turned on by any BMW dealer? If so, about how much would it cost? Thanks to everyone that replied to my last post...hopefully I'll get the same response to this one.

Your dealer likely is going to claim you need an alarm for that. You don't need one. They just check some box on their computer and it's done (don't think it makes a sound, just flashes the lights). The cool dealers do it for free (especially if you're there for something else so the car's already hooked up to the computer) or just charge you a 1/2 hour labor.
So, any dealer can do it. You just have to find one willing to do it.
