Ok, so I'm confused. I live in a Toronto, Canada (it snows......... a lot). I drive a 325ci convert. I've been told by one tire place to purchase the Q rated, and 2 others told me H rated, any answers for me ??? Also I'm looking at the Viking Snow Techs, any thoughts on these tires ??? Thanx. [confused] ps- I'm sticking with the 16".

wacky color........ H rated tires are rated at 130mph, which i doubt you're going to be doing in the snow, i dont know what the speed of Q rated tires are.....

Q is for 99 mph, studless and studded snow tires! WHat you are running into is that your car most likely came with from the factory with "H" speed rated tires and most installers/sellers will only replace tires with the same speed rating as the one from the factory due to legal liability BS. "Q" should be fine, but here is an article from the Tire Rack:Tire Rack
