Ok, I'm a recently transplated member of the Murano newsgroup forums to this new BMW world. I've been offered the following leasing deal and thought I'd check it out with the experts (I hope) of this forum. Non-expert testimony will also be welcomed...!

325i 2005
Steel blue, leatherette, wood trim, premium package and floor mats.
24 month lease/12K allowance/maintenance included.
2800$ down, 380$/month all tax, etc. inclusive.
Good? Bad? Standard?

Thanks,

Are you sure the car has leatherette? I personally have never seen a BMW with Premium Package that is equipped with leatherette. I think leather is part of the Package.

Actually that deal sounds too good to be true. Are you sure it has Premium Package? Is it manual or Steptronic?

Assuming perfect credit and leasing thru BMWFS the payments should be around $500-525 a month. What is the sticker price, and what have they discounted the vehicle? What is the money factor, and what is the residual value? Without those, it is hard to see how they are offering the rate of $380 incl. tax for a 24 mos lease. Almost all BMW leases are 36 mos.

Good Luck und Wilkommen an Bord.

Sedans are going for under invoice now. Last I checked, a ZHP was going for about $3,000 more than what I bought my 325 with leatherette and sports package for.

That deal sounds ok. The regular lease special is $290/mo for almost a stripper. Premium package should come with leather and wood trim tho. That car's specs should read metallic paint and premium package as the only options (floor mats should be negotiated as free). I'm not sure that's all that great a deal. Not horrible, but considering how low the sedans are going for right now...
