Puzzled about my new 325i ('06)

Have a few questions ref the 2006 sedans....

Got the 325i in titanium, with black leather interior and alum trim. Chose the cold weather package and opted for the premium package for the power/leather seats.

Can I hook up my iPod to the stereo or not? Am getting conflicting info on this.

Also, what's with the blinker (turn signal)?? Every time I want to change lanes I push it up or down lightly to indicate this. It flashes (as it should) but it won't go off on its own. My last car (Benz Kompressor) flashed auto 3x when I did this to signal lane change - do I have to reprogram something? Any info??

To my knowledge, the blinking 3X when you just tap the turn signal is a special thing on Benz cars. Other manufacturers may have it, but I don't think BMW does unless you read it in the manual somewhere. The previous 3 series didn't have that feature.
