power mirrors

i have 2000 323ci. My passenger rare mirror tilts as soon as I shift into reverse. However my driver side mirror does not tilt when in reverse gear. Please advise if driver mirror should tillt just as passenger mirror? Is there procedure to switch on / off this function?

It's just the passenger side. It's to help you parallel park. To turn it off, you know the switch that you push to one side or another to adjust the side mirrors? Move it towards the driver's side. That'll turn it on. Move it towards the passenger side and the feature turns off.
