I just wanted to say Hi and join the forums. Just ordered a 2004 330i and now I wait for it to be delivered to the Performance Center in SC. (8-10 weeks) Can't wait.

I've learned a lot from the board already and just wanted to say "Thanks"

Hey me too!

Just placed my order for a 330i Sedan - Performance Package in Imola Red!...for European Delivery in July...can't wait!

And I too am new to the forum (and to BMW)...but I've already poked around a bit...my only dilema...how will owning/driving a BMW affect my maxim on the road(when in my S4)...."No BMW shall pass me!" [hihi]

[80?] Roadhawk, You've owned some awesome cars.....This is my first Bimmer.....
Thanks Nate...and yes I agree..but that is own...these are our current vehicals...however by years end the Millenia (high miles & a myriad of problems that make it not worthwhile to fix - but in the meantime still going strong!) and the MR2 - (currently not drivable due to lost gears and dead battery)...are both due to be sold/given away...in fact my neighbor has bought the MR2 but we havent moved it out of the drive yet (so I can still claim it). Both have been great cars - and I mean it. The MR2 in particular was like a go-cart on wheels and very fast - and could corner like anything - (particularly on Yoko semi-slicks)...and even the Millenia had plenty of get up and go (and I actually bought it instead of a 3 series and other cars I was looking at and can't say I was ever unhappy with the choice - except that I would have prefered a stick).

So anyway first BMW for me as well..and I must conceed...(LOL)...it is a very nice car....I have been considering Euro delivery for years..and have driven BMers in Europe before (rental)...but I initially began this process looking at the new Volvo S40 and would likely have ended up in one if the AWD and stick were available this summer - they're not....no doubt the 330i is a much nicer/better car...but perhaps by less then folks might figure...with a little more power (though in t5 form it is fast and handles very well...) and a less conservative interior (center stack is very nice...rest...zzzzz) - the S40 will really be a contender...of course by then BMW will have moved up & on with the new 3/4 series...so perhaps a 2 series rival....
