Whats the deal with the 2 series and 1 series. I heard that the 2 series is coming to north america.. is there any links or pics i can check out. Ive tried looking around with no sucess.

The 1 series is a new model in BMW's lineup. It is a hatchback, like a VW Golf or Ford Focus.

There were reports that it was coming to the US as the 1 series but now it has been confirmed that it will not be coming to the US anytime in the near future.

The 2 series would have been the convertible form of the 1 series, BMW has ditched the idea of naming a 2 series and 4 series (3 series coupe/convertibles).

So forget about 2 series and if you want a 1 series, move to Europe !
