Newbie question - 320i 6-cyl engine swap?

Hi all,

I've got a '77 320i (4 cyl) that threw a rod. I was wondering if it is possible to swap an inline-6 into this model. Is there enough room? Will the drivetrain handle the extra power? If it's possible, is it feasable?

Everything is possible and feasible if you have enough time and money. There have been people that throw V12's in E30's. You would probably want to go through and change out the drivetrain anyway.
