Hey all, this forum seems to be alot better than the street racing forum I was on before. I recently purchased a 1995 325is black 5sp no mods. I need some small things here and there for it, but all in all a great looking.driving car. If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it. I need fog lamps, and to fix the door panels. The passenger side door panel seems to wiggle a litlle bit when the door is shut. any suggestions?

Thanks

Welcome, it is always nice to get new members. There is lots of experience here and someone will have the answers for you. The door panel may be something like a clip retainer. If the panel has been removed the old clips do not hold as well. These can be purchased at any BMW dealership or on line. Some body shops will have them. Check our "market place" for some good retailers. Again, welcome!

Welcome to the board, visit daily!!!

Here is what the clip looks like - this is an EBay ad for them. On your E36, these are used on all the door panels. The pointed end presses into a hole in the door metal frame. The round part slides into a "pocket" in the plastic door panel.

I replaced some of them on my 94 325i. They get less flexible and "springy" as the plastic ages. I got mine at the dealer for something like 30 or 40 cents each.

thanks for the info. this is the first of what i hope to be a collection of bmw cars. I recently had my 98 civic totaled by a 82 3/4 ton chevy which had no insurance. Little did I know it was a blessing in disguise, because I have wanted a bmw since I turned 16 and now at almost 24 I finally got one.
