Hello all,
I'm a former dedicated GM owner, now making a switch to the BMW world. I just bought a 1989 525i and a 1985 318i with a rectangle headlight conversion kit. It was purely coincidental that I bought 2 at the same time, but I'm happy that I did. Our 525 is in MINT condition, and only has 110,000 miles. The 318 is more of a project car, not running at the moment, but I'm excited toget it going, just by the pure nature of what it is, and its appearance.
Thanks and hello!!!
Jerry

Awesome rides, and welcome. I'm sure you'll have a great time with the new Bimmers!!
Thank you!!!
To be honest, the first BMW I ever saw that I fell in love with was a silver 633 like yours, when I was in military school....I don't know what year car it was, but it was in 1984-ish, and I still remember that car to this day.....I'm hoping to get my hands on one some day, but around here, they hold their value WAY too well for me to get one yet. I'm more likely to be able to talk my wife into letting me have a 330 or 740 than a 633, she only sees the age of the car, not the beauty....

Looks nice! e30 + e34 = win. I REALLY hope you put normal headlights in the E30, because not to be mean, but that looks pretty awful. Nice cars besides the lights though! The e30 looks to have some nice sideskirts.

Well, after further evaluation, the 318 and its controversial headlights is going to be sold. I just don't have the time to put into it that it will require. The plus side to that decision is that this morning I bought a 325i convertible that needs a hood, fender, and radiator due to a light hit. The rest of the car is MINT. :D
