Hi Bimmer Fans!!

As you can see I currently a Mercedes Fanatic (BOOOOOOO!)... don't worry I hear you! I used to own a '95 530, but sadly that car went up in flames, literally! (After an insurance investigation, it turned out to be faulty a/c wiring) So, for a while I was anti bimmer... but not for long at all. I just couldn't be!!

The reason I am joining this great Board is I'm seriously thinking about getting my ass in another ultimate driving machine. My current thoughts are a new 330ci or M3, but I'm really looking to get one of them 850ci's. I LOVE THOSE!! I'm going to be buying a coupe soon, and it will definitly be a BMW!

I hope i'm not shunned for my current small collection of Benzo's, as I am really interested in getting your expert advice on Bimmers.
Just to let you know, if there is one car company I hate it's Honda! [bmwkick] I like that smiley!

Welcome aboard the board. Everyone is welcome here. Good luck on your bimmer search. The 850's (E31) are very very nice cars, but could be high in ownership costs and high in maintenance costs. If you really want a nice 8-series go with the hard to find 850csi (very rare). That is the panicle of the 8’s…..

Can I ask what makes the csi so much better?
