New guy on the block....

Hi everyone!
I just bought a Bimmer here in Japan where I am stationed. I am going to ship it back to the states this month. I will be stationed in Indiana next so I hope I can make some "Bimmer" friends around the area. I'm impressed with the web site, lots of good info and it seems most everyone is friendly and helpful. Here's some specs and I'm going to try and post some pics, wish me luck....kinda new at this.

Model: 1995 325i convertible (stock)
Color: Boston Green Metallic
Interior: Tan leather
Miles: 37,000
Price I paid: $15,500 (good deal?)
Plans: change wheels/tires, install in-dash dvd player, add altezza lights

thats nice very low miles. how did you manage to get a left hooker in japan i thought they drive on the correct side of the road

It was a import from the U.S. Just one owner before me, a art dealerships company cruiser. I guess that explains the low miles. Got it after the guy traded it in for a $150,000 Benz.

Thats cool, all you have to do now is take out the booster seat, clean out the rice and get it back home

I like the lights that are on the car now. The car is too nice for altezza lights.

welcome, and i agree w/ not getting the altezza lights. unless you want to rice out your bimmer.

i suggest just getting one of those silver coated signal bulbs, so they are white when not on, and comes on yellow when you signal.

Thanks for the welcome. I will post some better pics on the E36 board. I get mixed reactions about the lights, but I feel ya guys on the rice burner thing.
