Hey everybody,
I am the kid who was asking you guys about what i should do about getting a new car and all. Well, I was looking all over the place and finally found an awesome BMW. It's a 1976 2002. For those of you who are dedicated BMW enthusiasts, you better know what that is. haha, I've loved those cars for three years now when i first saw one and now i finally own one. I'm very excited. It does have a few problems tho. It has an oil leak that im gonna have to take care of here pretty soon, but i want to put a new cam in it and put on some duel-weber carbs to get some more horsepower. the only set-back there is, 1:money. and two: i need to find an air-filter for the webers. im not about to go driving around and letting all that crap go into my engine. so right now im looking at having to have a custom made air filter but im turning 16 tomorrow and i dont really have a lot of money. especially since i bought the car myself and im not getting any financial help from anyone. so does anyone know about an ari-filter that i could get that wont dig my own financial grave?

Nice choice for your first car! We'll need pictures very soon! (I don't know anything about the carbs, but if you're getting new ones, shouldn't the filters come with them?)
