Glad to find this board! I'm a happy 1st time BMW owner. Just bought it the week of Thanksgiving, it's a 2000 323i, Alpine White, Tan Int.. 1st thing I did was replace the factory wheels with something bigger(M3 Wheels), and threw some good rubber on it's shoes.

Heres a few pics -

Thank you sir! I got my car 'butlerized' by a local wheel shop called Butler tires. I got a decent deal from them, all 4 18" rims (no staggered 18/19's in the rear) and 4 new tires for $1850, including high speed alignment, balancing, mounting etc. I've seen the same rims go for $2000 just for the 4 rims, no tires on them etc, so I think I came out pretty good. That and I get free alignments from them as long as I go by the same dealer that I got them from. So far so good, (about 3 weeks since the wheel change), it's a drastic improvement in the ride and handling!
