My First BMW

Hi everyone,

I just ordered my first BMW. A 2004 325i, with Premium, Sport, Cold packages and HK. If you don't mind me asking..anyone that ordered, how long did it take? The dealer told me 6-8 weeks. I think that's optimistic based on what I've read here.

Congrats! My M3 took 1 year, but 6-8 weeks sounds about right.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep my fingers crossed its only 6-8 wks. 1 year!! That must've been grueling. M3's are sweet. They had one in the showroom that had me drooling.

Welcome & Congrats!

This will make it a little less painful (or maybe a little more painful!). You can find out exactly when it arrives in port. Go here:

http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/Too...cking/index.jsp

and click on Auto. Enter your VIN (get it from the dealer or BMW Owners circle) in the cargo ID field.

It will tell you the shipping history and schedule for your baby.

FWIW mine was 9 days from offloading in NJ to delivery at the dealer.
