My dad has becone also a proud owner of a BMW

As of Sunday, my dad was able to get the brand new 2006 BMW M5 at our dealer. Right now it is in LA at the docks and will be shipped in about 6-8 days to the dealer. My dad was able to order it because the orignal person who pre-ordered it dropped out of the order so the dealer who sold my car a year ago called my dad up and asked him if was interested in the purchase. My dad currently drives a 2002 Mercedes Benz C32 AMG and will now sell it since he has purchased the M5. I am very happy that we got the last one from the dealership this year and I will promise you all pictures before the end of this year since its still in LA. It is a Silverstone Metallic with Black Leather and Olive Ash Wood trim. I cant wait to see it and drive it and later take pictures for you all to see!

Congratulations!! Silverstone is probably the most beautiful colour offered by BMW. Our local dealership had one on the showroom floor a couple of weeks ago. They were asking 20k over sticker, but said we could have it for 5k over sticker. How generous .

Well, my dad had these options that came with the car, he got it with rear folding seats, Rear window sunshades, and the comfort keyless access system. The car is coming this way since the person who ordered first wanted these options. Since they had to sell the car becasue of the back off from the first preson, the orignal sticker price was $ 98,000. The dealer knows my dad well as a friend and also has sold me my car so we were able to knock it down for $92,000.

So far its in Los Angeles right now about to be shipped to Seaside BMW which is about 320 miles north of LA. My dad does not have enough time to be on forums but he will let me post up lots of pics for you guys to see. I guess I'll be the first member on bmwboard to have a family member own a M5 and have the privlege to drive it.
