I am wanting to buy my first BMW. I am after a 323 but the one I am after may have a fault with the cylinder linings as in the Nikasil bore ware issue on the M52 engine. The dealer is offering to check the compression for me.
If it is OK should I be worried about future problems?
I have test driven a coupe and I love the performance and the exhaust note is to die for. If it is a problem is there a model under £3k that will deliver the same BANG!? [bmwkick]
