Hello again,
first time here and first time BMW owner. Just bought a 2002 330i super clean.
Anyone have any info about this model and shoud i be scared?
Oh well its too late now. Im hooked

There's two things you should know about your 330i:

1) Its one hell of a car - I've been looking at buying one for some time, and just waiting for the right one to come along (I thought I found it but the owner decided not to sell)

2) The automatic transmissions are a weak spot and expensive to fix. Looked after, you should have no probs, but I'd recommend not giving the gearbox too much hell, and definitely undertake good practise such as coming to a complete stop before changing between forward and reverse and vice versa. You should get many years trouble free from the box if you do.

Thanks for the response. Just bought the car 2 days ago did some research etc. discovered several minor complaints pertaining to interior cup holders etc. but my main concern is the engine/trans/suspension etc.

MUST be HONEST, IVE NEVER DRIVEN A BMW before but this one FELT RIGHT!

Hope its as good to me as I;ll be to it.
