Can anyone explain to me what this feature is? Can't seem to find much detail on it on the BMW site....Thx

Isn't that just the feature where if you pull back on the high beam stalk, the lights stay on so you don't have to walk away from your car in darkness?

Haven't a clue....my car hasn't arrived yet...but I kept hearing that term pop up at the dealership. I was hoping it was something a little more involved than that....ya know...you're out on the town...take a cab home....the Bimmer follows you home....no need to look for it the next day...etc...

The follow me home feature is: after you shut-off your car pull back on the turn signal stock and headlights will stay on for 40 seconds.

And the duration can be changed at the dealer if you feel it need to stay on longer.

Do you know what the default duration is [???1] I got this enabled on my Z4 last weekend, and have yet to actually try it and time it

I believe it's 40 seconds.
