Hi all, I am sure you all will be seeing a lot of me since this is my first Bimmer and I am trying to get myself familiar with this car. I am a DIY as much as possible.

I have 2000 528i with 74,000 miles that I just purchased and have a suspension question.

The suspension sags slightly to the right, what should I look for? A BMW shop that I took it to before I purchased it stated that I need to replace both the left and the right front strut mounts. My car does pull slightly to the right also. Could it be the strut mounts that cause the sag and the slight pulling to the right? What else should I look at that might be causing the slight sag to the right?

Thanks guys!

Welcome to the board. I am not sure if strut mounts have been a problem with the 528's but it sounds logical. I would not suspect your springs with only 74k on them and it leaning to the right! I would check regarding strut mounts and struts.

Yes, welcome to bmwboard!
Why would only the right side mounts become unservicable and not the the left ones?
But yes, if you where to replace them you would do both, maybe a bad shock absorber seal on the right side?
good luck with this one.
