Just found out today, my car is shipped and on the vessel "RESOLVE". Gets into Charleston port Friday the 13th. [???1] Hope that's not a sign.[:D] It's been long months saving and waiting for this car. Can't wait [:D] [:D]

Congrats! I'm waiting for my car, should be here in 5 weeks or so. The wait is taking forever, I can't wait until I can say the car is a week away. Don't worry about the Friday 13 thing, just BS superstition that has nothing to do with a scientifically engineered car.

Well my ship was delayed until the 14th, the port is closed for the weekend AND monday for presidents day. I'll be picking the car up at 8.30AM Tuesday morning. It feels like christmas. [:D]

Sweet! RESOLVE gets to Georgia today, then they'll truck it down probably. Too bad the port is closed presidents day. I'm going to try to go the the Charleston Port tommorow and see if I can get a tour or maybe watch them unload the cars. Try and get some pictures..

Vessel - RESOLVE

Dear Snowcrash,

I share you excitement. However, RESOLVE has been delayed getting into SC until 02/14 due to weather. It is arriving into Brunswick later this after noon and then on it's way to Charleston tomorrow.

My 645 is expected to leave SC on 02/21 and arrive my dealer 02/25-02/26. I can't WAIT!!

What car are you waiting for???

I can't believe you're getting a 6 series!@ I'm waiting for a 325ci. Yeah, it comes in Saturday, but I get to pick it up right at the port Tuesday morning, when they re-open. 4 more days!

There is your proof for Friday the 13th...RESOLVE was delayed, and now because of the weekend and the holiday, you don't get your car until next week. I don't think that I could last all weekend knowing that it's there but you can't have it.

I can't believe I'm getting a 6 either. The STARS have aligned for me..Perhaps I should play the lottery this weekend...

The 14th now huh. Well, what's one more day. Wish I could take off from work here in N.O and go pick it up at Charleston. Of course the cost of the speeding tickets on the drive back might be a problem also. I'll post a picture when it gets here. This is my first BMW and I have been driving an SUV for 10yrs, so I'm pretty stoked to get back to something that is a lot more fun to drive can still fit my wife and two kids.
