I'm not a "offical" BMW owner yet, I'm taking delviery in Munich on May 11. I've read the threads on Euorpean delivery and am really looking forward to the experience. I'm going to be in Europe for over three weeks so I'll get past the break-in 1200 miles and be able to test in out on the Autobahn. I'm also looking foward to being part of this Forum, I been reading it for the past couple of weeks and have learned about many BMW eccentricities, I guess that makes them more endearing.

Wilkommen!!!!!

Congrats on the purchase! You have made the BEST decision in the world by taking ED!!! [thumb] (OK I'm biased, but if you read the posts then you know that I did ED!!) We haven't had any ED threads in quite a while.

Did you get your delivery info pack yet? Where exactly (what area in Munich) are you taking delivery? They told me in April 2003 that they were building a new ED center, and it was to open in 2005 or 2006, located in a different part of Munich from where I picked mine up.

I don't have all the details yet. all I have is the date and the production number. The car is a 330ci coupe 6sp, Titanium silver with black leather interior, performance package, xenon adaptive headlights and cold weather package. I keep you posted.
