Besides the liter differences inthe engines, what are if any are the real differences between the 325, 328, 330.

Also does anyone have the scoop on the new 3 series coming out in 05?

well the 330 is the E46 chassis, so there are tons of things different because its a different car.

from the 325 to the 328 we have...
color keyed side skirts and bumpers
sleeker side markings
different kidney grille
ACS became standard
limited slip was no more, except for on M3's
Single Vanos in the 328
rear differential went from 2.93 to 3.15

err, what year/model. E46 model had the 323, 325, 328, and 330. Basically, btw the big and small engine versions, the only difference was you could get the 18 inch wheel option on the bigger engine cars and minor trim differences like silver rings around the guages, different color headlight surrounds, etc.

silly me, thinking he was only speaking of E36's. I'll look into the difference in the cars for those engines in the E46 chassis when i get home from work
