NewB-M-W! I need advice! Help! Buy a 2003 330xi?

I have been in the market for VWs and Audis for quite some time and have decided to give the other German folk a chance. I found a 2003 330xi for $24,000, but it has 65K miles on it. Apparently, the owner was someone in sales who regularly buys from this dealership, drives for two years then trades in for a new one. The car itself is in mint condition and clearly the one owner was completely meticulous. I have two questions: one, is this price not a bit steep for the mileage? What should I reasonable expect to negotiate? and two, is it a good idea to buy a BMW 330 with 65,000 miles on it? Is this mileage too high to avoid lots of repairs? Or are these cars made well enough so that 65K miles isn't too terribly hard on the car? Thanks for your input!
