Pelican parts has a tech section with how to's. You can also search using Google and there are numerous articles on it. I am sure we have some links here as well, try our search button.

Hi there,
If you're planning to do a bit on your car, perhaps it may be worth investing some money in a Haynes Manual or a Bentley Manual. They usually have hints and tips and exploded views so that you can understand the processes.

I use a Bentley manual as I find it better than Haynes Manual. You could probably buy the book on ebay or something. I've got an E30 and have the Bentley manual for it and I've done some of my best work yet!

Good luck fella,

jack the car up, place jackstands

remove wheel

remove guide bolts (under plastic plugs behind the caliper) i believe it takes a 6 or a 9mm allen

remove caliper bracket bolts i think that takes a 13mm?

hang the caliper from the spring or something of the sort to avoid disconnecting the brake lines

and then GOOD LUCK with that damn rotor retaining bolt. it might require buying a small impact driver ($20) to get off.

once the retaining bolt is off, use a rubber mallet or if you are tossing your old rotors and are 100% positive the new ones fit, use anything to pound that sucker loose

Dan forgot to mention brake parts cleaner, and if the previous person didn't suck at it, the rotor retaining bolt should have been put on with anti-seize compound so it should be fairly easy to get out. Also make sure the Ebrake isn't on and that you have the front wheels with blocks to keep it from moving.
