Artic Metalic Color

If you look at the E46 Gallery photos the pics of the 330 that says Silver Gray is the Artic Metalic color. It is a nice color I gets tons of compliments. First time that I picked a color that I actually like. Usually when I buy a car it is after sundown then the next day I am like what did I do cause the color looked so much better when I bought it. But I am very happy with my color. Bev

Thanks for posting the link to the Artic Metalic car. That isn't my car but it is the same color. I have a 2004 325ci however that one looks just like mine except for the wheels. I have to still take pics of my car and try to get them on here. Bev

Silver Gray and Artic Metallic are 2 totally different colours. Am I just missing, or not getting someting about these colour confusions?? Artic is no where near Silver gray.

Silver Grey is just Bev's "layperson" description of Artic Metallic. Acrtic Metallic is a silvery grey colour. "Silver Grey" is a different colour - correct.

Ok. But her car cannot be Artic Silver, since not even the 2005s had Artic Silver as an option, and I believe she has a 2004. She has Silver Gray...which she describes for some reason as Artic Silver, right???

No my car is not Silver Gray. It is a 2004 325ci Artic Metalic. I did find out that some of the Executive Cars were painted this color. They said my car is considered to be a 2004 1/2 came out mid year. Same thing when I bought my VW Passat 2001 1/2 it had a paint color that came out on the 2002 models. Bev

Please, please then post a picture. I have not seen ONE car in that colour, besides from BMW press photos on the new 2006 E90. Would love to see it.
