I'm looking into the purchase of a 2001 330i... manual with sport pkg, leather, sunroof, xenons, immaculate condition with ONLY 9,000 miles for $29K from Carmax. I really just stumbled upon this car after looking at new 325i/330i's and just going to Carmax to price my old car before it fell apart.
I was curious as to the low miles and ran the vin through carfax which showed everything clean and 3 vehicle history records.
1. 04/2001 US Customs Vehicle exported from Spain and imported to Charleston, SC (... normal ?)
2. 09/25/2003 Texas Motor Vehicle Dept. Title issued Registered as lease vehicle
3. 11/26/2003 6,126 miles Texas Inspection Station Passed emissions inspection
So the car sat for 2.5 years before being leased and was then turned back half a year later? Should I be thrilled to find such a low mileage deal![[cheers]](/images/smilies/icon_smile_cheers.gif "Cheers [cheers]")

Would the BMW dealer be able to offer me any possible service records?
