Today I ordered a set of OEM 18" ellipsoid rims

I'm mounting 225/40/18 Kumho 712's front and 255/35/18 Kumho's rear

I had the Kumho's on my TT - they perform and wear well and are good value

I also ordered the OEM windscreen with replacement rollbar covers

Different yet very nice looking wheel selection there. I generally like kumho's too, they've been good to me in the past. Giving Pirelli's a try this time, I'm seeing if these new Pirelli Pzero Nero's live up to the 440 treadlife. If so, that kills my fav (normally the same you are getting).

Drop us a pic once you have them on your ride!

I had Kuhmo 712 225/40-18 and my car was all over the place. I couldn't keep it on the road it was so bad. It was like driving on pavement that is deeply channelled from the semi-trucks driving over it too much. This was with a fresh alignment too. After a week of this, I went back to discount tire and they swapped them out at no cost for Continental Extreme Contacts and now I am VERY happy. The Kumho did grip extremely well, but I couldn't drive a 1/4 mile on the highway without it trying to jump into the other lane and I drive 60 miles a day on the highway. It was just as bad in city driving as well.

Enough about me..... your wheels look great and I hope the Kuhmo's work out for you.
