when is it recommended to replace the clucth on 1998 328. also what are the signs becase it is hard to tell becuse the clutch on that car grabs high anyways.
It depends on how many miles you have and how hard you are on the clutch. A good sign that your clutch is going out is when it starts to shudder when engage.
My 1987's original clutch lasted 250,000 miles before it started slipping sporadically, and I had it replaced at 260,000 after the throwout bearing came apart on me.
