I am not sure what you are asking??? Possibly '04 cars in '03??? If that is it they are '04 model year but still '03 production year, they are not a true '04 if that is what you are asking. They still have '03 plastered all over the cars and VIN. If that is what you are asking, it is just a "model" year change.

PS-They also carry '03 in service dates, which in the age of bank computers, is the "real" aging date. I tried to sell my 2002 lease truck thinking I would pick up some cash being that I got it when it was first introduced. No such luck, the bank the guy was using still considered it 2 years old from the in service date so I just returned it to the leasing company.

The in-service date applies to leases for sure. For us owners though, if in a few years you look up Edmunds or Kelly values, you will surely find identical '04s worth more than '03s just by virtue of the year.

Agree or disagree?

Tweet I spotted a black '04 330 Cic about a month before mine arrived. I drove behind him for a couple miles just admiring it. I found myself second guessing my choice as that car was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Real eye candy. Congrats.

Agreed, no question about it. The only consideration would then be miles. The model year does make a difference. I guess what I was saying not a "true '04" was that it is a model period and does not indicate the production date. But I was not real sure what the question was.

BMWROCKS: Thanks! Its hard to keep clean but i do love it [:D] I must admit, it would be nice to have a moonroof on occasion, but i dont regret going for the convertible. We are a fortunate few who not only get to look at these beautiful machines, we get to get behind the wheel every day too [:)] Don't second guess yourself, you have a beautiful car too!
